In Russia, the tire replacement season has started

In Russia, the "hot period for buying winter tires" has begun, experts from the transportation company KIT reported, whose words are cited by "Lenta.ru". 

According to KIT Executive Director Irina Mironova, in August, the demand for tire transportation compared to July, according to the company's data, increased by 33.2% across the country, and compared to August last year - by 9.3%. 

It is noted that the most in-demand are passenger tires with a diameter of 15-16 inches, which account for 45% of orders. Next are tires with diameters of 17-18 and 13-14 inches. 

According to experts, "it's best to take care of winter tires at the beginning of autumn. It is during this period that stores offer the most favorable conditions and a wide range of products. By October-November, popular models and tire sizes are quickly sold out, only less popular ones remain."

Earlier it was reported that the production of passenger tires in Russia fell by almost 20%.
