In China, the production of Mitas agricultural tires has started

On April 22, the first agricultural tire under the Mitas brand rolled off the production line at the Yokohama TWS plant in Shintai (Hebei, China), which initially entered the corresponding segment of the local market in 2018. The goal of localizing production, as noted in the company, is to better serve the local market, respond more quickly to changes in customer needs, and provide them with more effective support.

According to Lo Xiangxin, the company's marketing director in the Asia-Pacific region, Mitas currently has factories in many countries, meeting the needs of customers around the world, and eight years ago, after entering the Chinese market, the brand's tires began to be used as replacements on large harvesting equipment in Heilongjiang Province and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and "thanks to their excellent load-carrying capacity, puncture resistance, and traction properties in the field, they have earned a high reputation among Chinese farmers".

"Mitas has always focused on one thing throughout its nearly 100-year history, starting with the release of its first products at the plant in Zlin, Czech Republic in 1932, namely, creating reliable tires for agriculture," she also stated.

The company adds that "the modernization of agriculture largely depends on equipment, and tires are the 'shoes' of machines, ensuring efficient work and crop preservation". "The official release of the first Mitas tire at the Shintai plant is of great significance, as the most advanced technologies are used, and local equipment manufacturers will have the opportunity to select new high-quality options that will contribute to the improvement of Chinese agricultural equipment productivity", concluded Yokohama TWS.
