The Canadian market features new non-studded winter tires, Uniroyal Tiger Paw Ice & Snow 4, which are available in an expanded size range (+24 sizes compared to the previous generation tires) and are suitable for installation on a wide range of passenger cars, as well as crossovers, SUVs, and pickups.

"Every Canadian deserves reliable tires that can handle unpredictable winter conditions, regardless of the budget they can allocate for tire purchases," said Sylvain Couillard, Marketing Director of Michelin in Canada. "That's why we've made our new tires not only reliable but also affordable, so that any driver can appreciate their benefits."

The production of Uniroyal Tiger Paw Ice & Snow 4 uses a "winter" compound of the next generation, which retains elasticity at low temperatures, thanks to which the novelty has received not only the snowflake symbol (3PMSF) but also the Ice Grip marking, i.e., it meets the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for ice traction.

The tread pattern of the new Uniroyal tires includes wide grooves, open shoulders, and blocks of alternating shape, which accelerates the removal of water, snow, and slush, while the deep closing lamellas increase the stability of the blocks, improving handling and stability when cornering.

The tires are available in 53 sizes from 195/65 R15 to 275/50 R20, and four more sizes are planned to be released.
