TÜV SÜD certifies new Prinx truck tires
Three tires from the new commercial line Prinx Xelera Ecoline by the Chinese company Prinx Chengshan have successfully passed tests conducted by the German certification body TÜV SÜD and have officially received the corresponding certification mark, which the manufacturer is now entitled to use in its advertising and other materials.
Tires for steering, drive, and trailer axles were tested for fuel efficiency, wet grip, noise levels, and durability. Thomas Wolgemuht, Managing Director of Prinx Europe, noted that “this achievement reflects our commitment to offering European fleets reliable and high-quality solutions.”

“The fact that our long-haul tires have successfully passed TÜV SÜD testing confirms the quality of our products and the effectiveness of our engineering team,” he added.
The global debut of the new tires, manufactured in Thailand, took place two months ago at The Tire Cologne 2026 exhibition. The company states that they were developed with a focus on maximizing fuel efficiency, while the XChip technology enables fleet operators to receive real-time data on key parameters such as tire pressure, temperature, load, mileage, and tread depth. The new lineup will be presented at the IAA Transportation 2026 exhibition in Hanover, Germany, in a few weeks.
