Turanza T001 and MY02 Sporty Style from Bridgestone

This summer, two new models from the Japanese company Bridgestone will appear on the tire market - these are the premium-class Turanza T001 tires and the MY-02 Sporty Style for sports cars.
According to the statement of the company's general director, Yoshinaki Hiraishi, the first model is focused on long trips and is designed to provide comfort during travel. The predecessor of this Turanza T001 was Turanza ER300. The distinctive features of the new tire are a unique rubber mixture composition, which made it possible to provide special handling on a wet track, as well as reduce rolling resistance. The latter quality is achieved through the development of a special polymer that reduces friction between carbon molecules.
If we talk about the features of the tread pattern, then it is necessary to note the reinforced shoulder blocks, which significantly increased handling and reduced braking distance. Wide grooves are responsible for water drainage, and small grooves arranged in an original way allow for maximum acoustic comfort while driving.
As for the second novelty from Bridgestone, one of its main features is the original shape of the shoulder area of the tire, which allows to avoid deformation of the tire when passing turns. Also, being a sports tire, it has a reinforced frame. As for the tread pattern, large-sized blocks play a major role, providing high handling of the car, as well as lightning-shaped grooves, which not only cope well with the output of moisture from the contact zone with the road surface but also allow preserving it unchanged, which also affects the handling characteristic.
Bridgestone Turanza T001 will be available in 26 sizes from 14 to 19 inches, and Bridgestone MY-02 Sporty Style will be sold in 18 sizes from 14 to 17 inches.
