Triangle joined the UN Global Compact

After passing the audit, the Chinese tire company Triangle Tyre officially joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world's largest international initiative aimed at promoting socially responsible business practices.

Over 20,000 companies from 78 countries have already joined the initiative, committing to align their activities and development strategies with the Ten Principles, which cover various areas such as human rights, labor relations, environmental responsibility, anti-corruption, and more.

Triangle notes that as part of its membership, the company will implement UNGC principles into its business practices, contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and participate in various social and environmental initiatives.

The tire manufacturer adds that by joining the UNGC, the company has demonstrated its commitment to the principles of sustainable development, and furthermore, as competition in the tire industry becomes increasingly fierce, cooperation with the UN initiative will "definitely have a positive impact on Triangle's image and increase consumer trust".

"In pursuit of economic benefits, companies must not forget about social responsibility, and Triangle Tyre has set a good example for the industry," the company emphasized.

Previously, other tire manufacturers, such as Sailun and Nexen, have also joined the UNGC, and Triangle says that currently, consumers are paying more attention to the social responsibility of business participants, and Triangle's decision to become a member of the UNGC will "undoubtedly receive widespread support and recognition".
