Trelleborg releases new tire for gardens and vineyards
Trelleborg Tires officially unveiled its new agricultural tire, the Trelleborg TM200 ProgressiveTraction, at the Agritechnica 2025 exhibition in Hannover. The company claims that this tire is the first to be manufactured using VF (Very High Flexion) technology, which allows it to operate at lower pressure, and is specifically designed for use in orchards and vineyards where soil preservation and sustainability are crucial.
The tires are also made using the patented ProgressiveTraction technology, which features a stepped tread structure that creates additional traction edges and ensures stable traction. According to the manufacturer, this technical solution can improve the tire's traction properties by 15% compared to standard products from competitors, while also increasing fuel efficiency and providing better performance on slopes. At the same time, the VF technology reduces soil compaction, making the tires ideal for tractors with heavy front-mounted equipment, allowing for efficient operation while preserving soil integrity.
According to the manufacturer, the load capacity of the TM200 ProgressiveTraction has been increased by 40% compared to standard tires, while soil protection has been improved by 8%. Additionally, internal tests by Trelleborg have shown that the new tires have 26% better lateral stability than standard products from competitors and can last 10% longer.

In addition, each TM200 ProgressiveTraction tire is equipped with a unique QR code that provides farmers with instant access to product information and recommendations for optimal use.
The new tires will be available in four sizes with a rim diameter ranging from 16 to 28 inches.
