Ceat Specialty Tyres announced that it is expanding its presence in the original equipment segment and will supply Farmax family tires to Massey Fergusson tractors, manufactured by AGCO, a leading global manufacturer of agricultural equipment, in the European market.

In the first stage, Ceat tires will be installed on tractors from the Massey Ferguson 5700 M series, and in the future, it is planned to expand the list of equipped equipment and "continue to develop the long-term cooperation between the two companies".

For the 115-horsepower MF 5711 M tractor, Ceat Farmax R65 tires in sizes 440/65 R28 and 540/65 R38 have been approved, featuring a tread pattern designed to increase traction and improve ride comfort. Additionally, special lugs accelerate self-cleaning of the tread from dirt, while the increased tread width reduces soil compaction and increases tire life.

In the near future, Ceat plans to install other tire models, such as Torquemax, Farmax R70, and Farmax R80, on Massey Ferguson tractors, and the company says that the partnership with AGCO will help strengthen its position in the high-horsepower tractor tire segment. Previously, the companies had already collaborated in Brazil, and high-horsepower tractor tires were developed in conjunction with the Massey Ferguson engineering and manufacturing center in Beauvais, France.

"The collaboration with AGCO-Massey Ferguson's European division marks a new chapter in Ceat Specialty's history," noted Amit Tolani, the tire company's CEO. "Ceat Farmax tires have unparalleled traction and durability, and together with Massey Ferguson, we will set a new standard for efficiency in the agricultural sector and offer farmers the best solutions to meet their needs."
