Toyo presents new all-season tyres
Toyo Tire has introduced the new all-season Toyo Proxes G-Tour grand-touring tire in the U.S. market, which the company says offers a higher level of comfort compared to standard touring and UHP tires, thanks in part to reduced noise levels, while lower rolling resistance makes the new model an ideal choice for electric vehicle owners.

The Proxes G-Tour is designed for passenger cars, crossovers, and SUVs. Its asymmetric tread pattern is engineered to deliver high grip on dry and wet asphalt, as well as light snow, throughout the tire's entire service life. The tread design features blocks with beveled edges that accelerate water evacuation from the contact patch, while stiffened central ribs enhance stability. A specialized rubber compound improves wet traction and also extends tread life.

According to Cameron Parsons, Toyo's business development manager for the U.S. market, the Proxes G-Tour “sets a new benchmark in the grand-touring all-season tire segment.” “Thanks to our latest innovations and refined tread design and rubber compound, these tires combine extended tread life with confident grip on both wet and dry surfaces during everyday driving,” he added.

The new Toyo tires will be available in over 70 sizes with rim diameters ranging from 16 to 22 inches, with additional sizes to be introduced later. The company states that these tires are intended for popular premium vehicle brands such as Audi, BMW, Lexus, Tesla, and others. The limited warranty covers up to 105,000 km.
