Toyo presented new track tires

The new Toyo Proxes Sport R semi-slick tire made its debut at the 2025 SEMA show in Las Vegas, designed for various motorsport competitions, including endurance racing, as well as suitable for use on public roads.

The novelty features an aggressive tread pattern, which, in combination with a reinforced internal structure and a special rubber compound, is designed to primarily improve traction, stability, and handling on dry pavement. In addition, particular attention was paid to achieving a balance between grip and durability, and the tire received a 200 UTQG treadwear rating, meeting the requirements of racing competitions.

The Toyo Proxes Sport R will be available in over 50 sizes with diameters ranging from 13 to 21 inches. The tires are designed for vehicles such as the BMW M, Ford Mustang, Honda Civic Type R, Porsche 911, Toyota GR86/Subaru BRZ, and more.

"The Proxes Sport R is our latest Extreme Performance summer tire, designed for drivers who value both high performance on the track and practicality on the road," said Cameron Parsons, Toyo's technical specialist for motorsport tires. "We've used improved tread patterns and rubber compounds to deliver excellent dry grip and durability."

Under the Proxes brand, the company releases a wide range of sports tires for various applications, including all-season and summer tires, as well as racing slicks and radial tires for drag racing.
