Toyo introduced a new commercial tire

Toyo has released new all-season commercial tires Toyo M165, designed with the consideration that tires of this type are subject to increased stress due to frequent braking and acceleration during last-mile delivery, and, as the company claims, are distinguished by both even wear and improved fuel efficiency, making the new product a good choice for fleets seeking to reduce their operating expenses.

Toyo M165 is made from special rubber compounds that increase durability and energy efficiency, have additional protection for the sidewalls, and have been optimized using the e-balance technology, which, according to the manufacturer, reduces the likelihood of body roll in high vans, which are becoming increasingly popular for same-day or next-day delivery. 

Toyo adds that vans are often used to transport large and heavy cargo, so tires can be prone to excessive wear when braking, accelerating, and contacting curbs, and Toyo M165 has been designed with all these requirements in mind, and in the brand's lineup, it will replace the H08+ model.

To ensure high traction on slippery surfaces, wavy lamellas have been added to the tread pattern, while connected blocks enhance stability, and the carcass design has been improved to reduce heat and improve the tires' suitability for retreading. 

"The new commercial tire M165 is designed with the understanding that fleets want to change tires less often, and for this reason, it has increased resistance to uneven wear," said Jordan Vestin, product planning manager at Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. " We are confident that the M165 will be a great addition to Toyo's lineup of proven commercial tires."

The new tires will be produced in several sizes with a rim diameter of 16 inches and are intended for vehicles such as the Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, and Rivian RCV.
