Top 20 largest tire manufacturers in the world — 2026

Tyres & Accessories has released its latest list of the world's largest tire manufacturers by sales volume, and as analysts predicted, the 2025 rankings have seen several significant changes due to recent mergers and acquisitions and overall industry consolidation.

Michelin still confidently holds the top spot with a tire market revenue of €24.474 billion, Bridgestone is again in second place with €22.497 billion, and Goodyear closes the top three with €15.557 billion.

Slightly lower, as in the previous year, are Continental and Pirelli, followed by changes, with Yokohama rising from eighth to sixth place, overtaking Hankook and Sumitomo Rubber Industries. This success is primarily due to the acquisition of new assets, such as Goodyear's OTR tire business, but it's worth noting that Yokohama's European division has tripled its revenue over five years without mergers and acquisitions, so it seems the company is firmly intent on overtaking Pirelli and entering the global top 5 tire ranking. Sumitomo has also recently acquired the Dunlop brand rights from Goodyear in several regions, but the deal was closed in May 2025, so its full impact will be reflected in the company's ranking next year.

The top ten also includes Chinese companies ZC Rubber and Sailun, followed this year by Linglong, which has risen three positions and overtaken Toyo, MRF, and Kumho. The latter has also ceded to Giti, now in 14th place.

There have been no changes in the lower part of the ranking, with Apollo Tyres retaining 16th place, followed by Maxxis, Nexen, Titan International, and their fellow Indians from JK Tyre.

Regarding future forecasts, experts note that the main uncertainties are related to anti-dumping and countervailing duties expected to be imposed on passenger and light truck tire imports from China to Europe, and it is unclear how they will affect the market, both regionally and globally.
