Titan has developed off-road tires for trailers

Titan International releases the "first true off-road tire for trailers" on the market, named Carlstar Radial Trail A/T.

Titan emphasizes that, unlike competitors who use molds originally designed for SUV and pickup truck tires in this segment, the company has developed the Radial Trail A/T from scratch as a specialized tire designed specifically for vehicle trailers. Field tests have confirmed that the novelty "performs well in any conditions".

Carlstar Radial Trail A/T features an aggressive tread pattern with large shoulder lugs designed to enhance traction on gravel, grass, dirt roads, and mud. The bridges between them help prevent uneven wear and reduce noise. Additionally, the open shoulder zones reduce heat generation and improve tread self-cleaning, while the additional elements on the sidewalls reduce the likelihood of damage.

The new tire is available for order in the ST 235/75 R15 size, and four more sizes with a rim diameter of 14 to 16 inches will be introduced in the summer of 2026.

Titan has also increased the speed rating of the Carlstar Radial Trail HD tires, which "have long been a recognized market leader in trailer tires", to N (up to 87 mph), and applied technology that increases their thermal resistance when used in harsh conditions. The tires are available in 18 sizes, from ST 145/R12 to ST 255/85 R16.
