Tengri Tyres has significantly increased production

In January-September 2025, the production of pneumatic rubber tires in Kazakhstan increased 4.6 times compared to the same period last year and amounted to 481.4 thousand units, report the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Imports for the specified period increased by 11.4% to 5.4 million tires, and the share of imported products on the domestic market reaches 92.8%. Sales volumes in the tire market of Kazakhstan for nine months amounted to 5.3 million units of products.

The only tire plant in the country is Tengri Tyres, located in the city of Saran, Karaganda region, and part of the Tatneft tire group. The project capacity of the enterprise is 3 million passenger and 500 thousand truck tires per year. Products are released under the budget brand Attar.
