04 february 2013
The Asian division of Bridgestone Corporation plans to open a new technology center this year. It will be built in four months - construction will take place from March to July - and will be located in Thailand.
Currently, the project has already invested 31 million euros. The new division of the company will be engaged in the development of new car tires and quality control of products released by the Asian branches of the firm. For now, these functions are performed by a technology center located in Japan. But over time, the work will be divided between the two centers.
According to representatives of Bridgestone, the construction of the new technology center is driven by the rapidly developing market of the Asia-Pacific region, and modern realities require a quick response to consumer preferences.
