Team De Rooy and Goodyear celebrate victory at the 2026 Dakar

After a fierce battle, Team De Rooy celebrated their victory in the 2026 Dakar Rally, with their crews under numbers 604 and 602 taking first and second place respectively in the truck category.

The tires for Team De Rooy are supplied by Goodyear, which noted that the 2026 race was once again a serious test for the participants, and the "super complex" terrain, long special stages, and constantly changing conditions were an extreme endurance test for the equipment. The team achieved impressive results both on rocky roads and in high-speed desert sectors, confirming that they are one of the strongest in the truck category (the Russian "KAMAZ-master" has not been participating in the "Dakar" since 2023).

Team De Rooy uses 375/90 R22.5 Goodyear Offroad tires, designed to combine high traction with improved durability and heat resistance in extreme off-road conditions. Additionally, the Goodyear TPMS system is used, which allows real-time monitoring of tire pressure and temperature, helping to maintain the necessary control over the vehicle and increase comfort on difficult sections.

Goodyear says that their long-standing partnership with Team De Rooy has once again proven successful in the 2026 rally, as both the racing team and the tire manufacturer are "committed to achieving the highest results in the harshest conditions of world motorsport".
