In January 2025, Tatneft increased its stake in Tengri Tyres, a joint venture with Kazakhstan's Allur Group, to 51%. 5% of the company's shares were purchased for 1.01 billion rubles, and the entire amount was fully paid in the first quarter of this year, according to Finmarket.

The construction of the tire plant in the city of Saran, Karaganda region of Kazakhstan, initially called KamaTyresKZ, began in 2021, and a joint venture was created with Allur, and in 2023, the enterprise was included in the business direction "Tire business" of the Tatneft group, which also includes Ikon Tyres (Russia) and BRZ (Uzbekistan).

In 2024, the company was renamed Tengri Tyres, and serial production of tires under the new Attar brand was also launched.
