Sumitomo Rubber Industries partnered with the Intercontinental Games (ICG) races, which the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) held for the first time from November 30 to December 1 at the world-famous circuit in Jerez, Spain. The races were supplied with tires under the Dunlop brand.

The first IGC competitions were held as part of the 120th anniversary of the FIM in two classes: Supersport and Supersport 300, and the teams were composed of riders from different continents. Each team included a captain with experience in world championships and pilots who participated in various national championships. As a result, FIM Europe won, and the next competition will take place in two years, with new categories expected to be added.

"The IGC is a historic event that brought together representatives from Asia, North America, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Oceania," said FIM Marketing Director Fabio Muner. "We are very pleased that the Dunlop brand, with a history of over 130 years, which has been contributing to the development of racing for over a century, has joined us."

In Sumitomo, it was noted that they will continue to expand their presence in motorsports and supply tires for various competitions in order to further increase the value of their brand.
