Yokohama's sports tires will be released in a new version
Semi-slick tires Yokohama ADVAN A050, designed for gymkhana and track racing, will be available in three sizes with a new rubber compound labeled A1, reports the manufacturer.
ADVAN A050 in the new version will be the first commercially available Yokohama tires to use materials originally developed for Japanese racing championships such as the Super Formula Championship and Super GT, and the A1 compound was created to maximize traction and is optimally suited for time trials. The tires are also released with several other rubber compound compositions, such as, for example, G/2S, developed specifically for gymkhana.

The new compound will be used in the production of tires in sizes 265/35 R18, 295/35 R18 and 295/30 R18, and sales in the Japanese market will start at the end of November.
