SNC Tire plans to build a plant in Malaysia

China's Shandong New Continent Tire intends to build a plant in Malaysia, for which a subsidiary company Jiafu Industrial will be established in the country. The investment project has been officially registered, and the rest of the details will appear later, according to Chinese media.

In recent years, Chinese tire companies have been actively localizing production in Southeast Asian countries, as this allows them to supply tires without paying anti-dumping duties imposed on Chinese-made tires in various regions of the world.

SNC Tire was founded in 2012 in Linyi (Shandong, China) and produces tires under the Comforser and Roadcruza brands, which are exported worldwide.
