Smithers to gain indoor testing capabilities for STL

Smithers, a company providing testing, consulting, information and compliance services, has acquired the Standards Testing Laboratories (STL) division, which specializes in indoor tire and wheel testing.

STL will continue to own and operate its machine manufacturing division and US operations.
