Strongest "Made in China"
The range of tires, among which one will have to choose in the near future, has changed significantly. As expected, there are more and more tires with the "Made in China" label. Based on this, tests of these tires are becoming increasingly popular. Such a test was conducted by the specialists of the magazine "Behind the Wheel", who tested budget models of Russian and Chinese production in the size 195/65/15.
The test results were frankly surprising, as the Chinese model Sailun Atrezzo Elite outperformed all Russian-made tires. In principle, if high results were expected, it was from a large brand like Sailun.
The best results in the objective test of braking on dry pavement were shown by Viatti Strada 2, and on a wet road by Sailun Atrezzo Elite, while Cordiant Comfort 2, Nokian Nordman SX3 and Formula Energy showed worse results. However, to be fair, it should be noted that the gap within the scoring group is small: 4% on dry asphalt and 7% on wet. The advantage of the leaders is small, but still.
The highest speed on a wet surface was shown by Nordman (60.9 km/h), and on dry asphalt - Cordiant (68.5 km/h). Which, however, turned out to be the slowest (58.2 km/h) on wet asphalt. Dry pavement sent Formula tires (66.4 km/h) to last place.

It is worth noting that Chinese tire manufacturers have made significant progress in quality and production technology, and their products now have several advantages:
Affordable price: one of the main advantages of Chinese tires is their lower price compared to tires produced in other countries. This makes them more accessible to a wide range of consumers.
Variety of choice: Chinese manufacturers offer a wide range of tires for various types of vehicles and operating conditions. Regardless of whether you need tires for a passenger car, SUV, truck, or other vehicle, the likelihood of finding a suitable Chinese tire model is quite high.
High quality: Chinese-made tires have significantly improved their technical characteristics and quality in recent years. Many Chinese manufacturers have invested in modern technologies, equipment, and research to improve the reliability and performance of their tires.
Compliance with international standards: Chinese tire manufacturers strive to comply with international quality and safety standards, such as the ECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) and DOT (US Department of Transportation). Many Chinese tires undergo certification and testing to ensure compliance with these standards.
Innovations in design and technology: Chinese manufacturers are actively introducing new technologies and innovative design solutions into their tires. This can include improved rubber compounds, optimized tread patterns, reinforced construction, and other innovations that contribute to improved traction, durability, and driving comfort.
In short, Chinese tires once again prove that they are not only possible but also necessary to consider when making a purchase.
