Studded tires Viatti Nordico 2 are available in new sizes

Kama Tyres has started producing studded tires Viatti Nordico 2 in three new sizes — 195/55 R16, 225/75 R16, and 225/55 R17 — the release of which will increase market coverage and make the brand's flagship winter model available to a greater number of motorists, the company's press service reported.

Studded Viatti tires were developed specifically for Russia's climate and road conditions, and the manufacturer claims that they can reliably operate on various types of surfaces, from ice and compacted snow to wet asphalt, including in changeable weather. The tires are equipped with anti-skid studs with a steel body and a tungsten carbide core, which increases the effectiveness of piercing the ice surface, while the rhombus-shaped blocks in the central zone improve directional stability and predictability of tire behavior when maneuvering, and transverse channels and open shoulders accelerate self-cleaning of the tread. In addition, alternating blocks in the shoulder areas enhance grip when driving on deep snow.

Viatti Nordico 2 tires are available in sizes with diameters from 14 to 17 inches.
