Yokohama tires have been selected for the BMW 7-Series

Yokohama places great emphasis on expanding its presence in the original equipment segment, and this time the company has announced that it supplies Ultra-High Performance tires for the BMW 7-Series representative sedan and its electric version, the i7, the first electric car in this family.

The Yokohama ADVAN Sport V107 tires have passed homologation, which were refined with the participation of BMW engineers and have a special rubber compound composition that improves handling stability, while the tread pattern has been optimized to reduce noise. The tires also received an "A" rating for wet grip properties according to the European classification, and thanks to the convex profile, an even distribution of loads in the contact patch is ensured, which improves driving qualities on dry pavement and increases the durability of the tread. In addition to this, the internal structure of the tires has been modified for optimal handling, and the star on the sidewalls confirms that the tires have been approved according to BMW standards.

On the BMW 7-Series, Yokohama tires are installed in sizes 255/45 R20 at the front and 285/40 R20 at the rear, or in size 245/50 R19 on both axles.
