Windpower tires have received the Quality Mark from TÜV SÜD
Three tires of the Windpower brand from the Pro family have received the well-known industry Quality Mark from the German certification organization TÜV SÜD, having successfully passed tests for braking efficiency on wet surfaces, noise level, economy, and durability during operation at high speeds, reports the trading company Bohnenkamp.
Note that the tests were conducted at the initiative of the tire manufacturer, i.e., the Chinese Aeolus, and "excellent results in all disciplines confirm the high quality and reliability of the brand's truck tires, which have been firmly established in Bohnenkamp's assortment for 20 years."
The following Windpower tires were awarded the Quality Mark:
Windpower Pro GU01. All-position tires designed specifically for city buses and featuring a dual-layer tread compound (Dual-Layer Tread Compound, DLTC) - the tread is made of a rubber mixture with increased wear resistance, while the under-tread compound reduces heat generation and rolling resistance, ensuring fuel savings. Additionally, the three-layer carcass construction with a spiral-wound cord improves ride comfort, and engineers have also worked to ensure slow and even wear.

Windpower Pro DR85. Regional truck tires for the driving axle. Each tread block has three lamellas that enhance traction on slippery surfaces, while the wide open shoulders increase traction in difficult conditions, and the increased tread width improves stability and handling. The three-layer carcass is made with high-strength cord, ensuring optimal handling and fuel efficiency, as well as high durability.

Windpower Pro SR80. A tire for the steering axle, also designed for regional transportation. The tread pattern with four circular grooves is designed to accelerate water evacuation and improve ride smoothness, while the lamella design is optimized to prevent uneven wear. Additionally, the two-layer tread construction reduces the risk of overheating, and the carcass, like the DR85, is made using high-strength cord.
