Italian manufacturer of agricultural equipment SDF Group has chosen Vredestein Traxion tires as the factory equipment for Deutz-Fahr tractors from the Series 6 line, as reported by Apollo Tyres, the owner of the tire brand.

Starting from the first quarter of 2025, all Deutz-Fahr tractors of the sixth series, including models 6160, 6170, 6180, 6190, 6210, 6230, and 6230HD, as well as versions with a 4-cylinder engine 6160.4 and 6170.4, will be available with four combinations of Vredestein tires.

Vredestein Traxion features a tread pattern with curved lugs and increased density in the center, designed to improve road comfort and increase wear resistance. Additionally, non-parallel blocks that diverge closer to the shoulders improve traction and self-cleaning of the tread when used in the field.

"We are honored that Deutz-Fahr has chosen Traxion tires for their sixth-series tractors," said Laurence Bennett, head of the Apollo special tire department. "This decision was made in response to the growing demand from contractors and farmers operating Deutz-Fahr tractors, who highly value the benefits of Vredestein tires. Our Traxion technology is designed to provide high-performance tire characteristics, such as improved traction and comfort, as well as increased durability, and all these factors play a key role in agricultural work. This partnership reflects the high reputation we have been able to build in the market."

For Deutz-Fahr, Traxion XXL, Traxion 65, and Traxion 70 tires are supplied in sizes with a rim diameter from 28 to 42 inches.
