Toyo tires have been chosen for new special versions of the Subaru Crosstrek

For the special versions Touring Wilderness Edition and Limited Wilderness Edition of the Subaru Crosstrek crossover, the off-road tires Toyo Open Country A/T III were chosen, the tire manufacturer's press service reported.

Subaru Crosstrek is a compact crossover with a sporty design, designed for use in various conditions from metropolitan streets to rural areas, and the Wilderness brand was created primarily for the North American market, under which Subaru releases special versions of its models with improved off-road capabilities.

Both new versions of the Crosstrek are designed for Japanese drivers, and the Toyo Open Country A/T III tires are designed for operation on both asphalt and off-road, as well as on snow (3PMSF marking is present), while the special rubber compound has increased resistance to cuts, and the 5-step tread pattern is optimized to reduce noise.

For the new versions of the Crosstrek, the tires are supplied in the size 225/60 R17 with voluminous white lettering on the sidewalls.
