Nexen tires are approved for MINI Cooper

On January 23, the Japanese branch of Nexen Tire announced that the company has become a supplier of tires for the primary equipment of the new fourth-generation MINI Cooper, for which the summer sports tires Nexen N'Fera Sport were approved, which are classified by the manufacturer as premium-class.

The selected tires are made from a new rubber compound that, according to Nexen, increases grip and braking efficiency, while the asymmetric pattern improves stability and handling at high speeds, and the design with three main and one additional longitudinal grooves also accelerates water drainage.

Previously, N'Fera Sport received high ratings in several European tests conducted by organizations such as Auto Bild, ADAC, and Ace Lenkrad, and also received the German Red Dot Design Award.

Nexen also supplies a range of other BMW vehicles, including the MINI Countryman, BMW 2-Series Active Tourer, X1 and iX1, X2, and 5-Series.
