Kumho tires are approved for Renault Grand Koleos

Kumho Tire will supply tires for the original equipment of the Renault Grand Koleos, the company's press service reported, adding that the mid-size crossover has become very popular in the Korean market due to its excellent driving characteristics and good fuel economy.

For the Grand Koleos, Kumho Crugen HP71 high-performance tires have been homologated, designed for premium crossovers and SUVs with a focus on improving ride comfort and reducing noise levels. In addition, the optimized rubber compound has increased durability, while snow traction has increased by more than 20% compared to the previous generation of tires.

Tires are supplied in two sizes: 235/50R19 and 245/45R20, and the latter is equipped with an additional layer of sound-absorbing foam, which improves acoustic comfort.

"The supply of tires for the Grand Koleos, which combine fuel efficiency and high traction thanks to new technologies, confirms the premium level of Kumho Tires products," said Kim In Soo, Kumho's original equipment sales director, adding that in the future, the company "will continue to strengthen its strategic partnership with leading automotive brands".

In 2024, Kumho aims to increase sales to 4.56 trillion won (3.2 billion dollars), which will be the highest figure since the company's founding.
