Goodyear tires are homologated for Volvo EX30

The company Goodyear announced that it has become a supplier of tires for the factory equipment of the Volvo EX30 - the first compact premium crossover from the Swedish brand, which runs exclusively on electricity and can travel up to 660 km without recharging.

The EX30's lineup includes Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance SUV tires, designed to improve the balance between high traction, good ride comfort, and increased energy efficiency, making them an optimal choice for electric vehicle owners. The tread pattern is designed to improve handling in various weather conditions, while the rubber compound has been optimized to increase tire life and reduce rolling resistance.

"Thanks to the new agreement with Volvo, we continue to expand our tire supplies for electric vehicles and meet the demand from premium vehicle manufacturers, and the EfficientGrip Performance SUV tires stand out for their excellent driving characteristics, economy, and durability," said Gustavo Teramoto, Director of OE Business at Goodyear's Brazilian branch.

For the EX30, the tires are supplied in sizes 225/55 R18, 245/45 R19, and 245/40 R20.
