Tires for luxury class cars

Among the flow of cars, there are quite a few luxury cars, and, of course, despite any global upheavals, they need tires. What choices are available today and what to pay attention to, we will discuss in today's article.

Tires for premium cars are divided into two types:

Tires with high, sports characteristics allowed for operation on public roads and tires with the highest level of comfort.

At the same time, of course, the majority pays attention to comfort. Therefore, manufacturers pay special attention to this. Everything is used, from a special algorithm of the tread pattern to noise reduction systems.

The main problem that our car owners faced is, of course, the availability of tires. Most luxury car tire manufacturers have abandoned business in Russia, and only Pirelli remains among the world's top manufacturers. It seems that they are not going to leave.

It would seem that Chinese brands have become active, so you can do without premium tires.

This is indeed the case, but not everything is as simple as with serial cars. Luxury car manufacturers have literally made them smart by installing a mass of systems that assist while driving. Most of these systems directly interact with the tires, and therefore tire manufacturers have been adapting tires to specific car models for a long time, obtaining homologations. It is precisely with homologations that Chinese brands have a big gap.

What does this lead to?

Starting from unusual seating on the disk and ending with errors in the control system. At the same time, returning tires in case of system errors will not be justified. There is no homologation, there is no reason to be dissatisfied with the tires.

There's nothing terrible, of course, when using an alternative with a suitable size and speed and load indices, in most cases, no problems arise, but if there is an alternative with homologation from the car manufacturer, then preference should be given to it.
