Cordiant tires help set a new record

The tire cluster "Cordiant" has supported the "Record Auto of the Year" project, within which it is expected to set a Russian record for the longest continuous movement by car.

The race started on July 22 on the CKAD, and 12 pilots will drive three Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max cars for about 12,000 km in five days. The cars only stop for refueling every 500 km, and the drivers change every two hours. The course of the race is monitored by representatives of the Russian Book of Records. The data is tracked using GPS trackers, online geolocation broadcasts, and odometer fixation. It is planned that the certificate will be issued on July 31 in the TASS press center.

"Cordiant" equipped the cars, which did not undergo special modifications, with Cordiant Comfort 2 SUV tires, which, as noted, "differ in strength, wear resistance, high coupling and braking properties on both dry and wet surfaces, making them an excellent choice for comfortable and safe driving".

The "Cordiant" cluster combines five production sites and, in terms of nominal capacity, is second only to Ikon Tyres in the Russian tire industry.
