
Attar tires will be supplied for equipping JAC cars
The KamaTyresKZ plant, located in the city of Saran, Karaganda region of Kazakhstan, which started serial production of products in June, will already supply tires under its own Attar brand for equipping locally produced JAC cars by the end of this year, the press service of the country's president reports.
234 billion tenge (43.6 billion rubles) was invested in the Saran plant, and last month it produced 30,000 tires. In July, the first products were shipped for export to Russia, and it is expected that the enterprise will produce 1 million tires per year, and by 2027 its capacity will increase to 3.5 million tires per year.
It is noted that the equipment was delivered from Latvia, Italy, Portugal, Japan, etc., and the plant's staff is planned to be increased from the current 590 to 1125 people.
KamaTyresKZ is a joint venture of the Russian "Tatneft" and the Kazakhstani GC "Allur".
