Bridgestone's tire plants in Japan have been equipped with solar power systems

Bridgestone's tire plants in Shimonoseki and Kitakyushu, Japan are now equipped with solar power systems. These systems, with a total capacity of 5.8 MW, will supply electricity for tire production at these two plants. Bridgestone reports an annual reduction in CO2 emissions of approximately 2,700 tons.
