Certification cancelled!
11 april 2012
A new decision by the Government of the Russian Federation has stipulated that tires are no longer a product requiring mandatory certification.
In late March, a meeting of the Russian government was held, at which the list of products subject to certification was amended. Among other things, the list included tires for cars, buses, agricultural machinery, motorcycles and scooters.
The resolution will come into force two months after its adoption, i.e. on May 21, 2012. Certificates issued before the entry into force of this government decision are considered valid until the end of their validity period, shelf life or service life of the product, established in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. In other words, tires released into circulation under the above documents do not require re-labeling.
