Sentury Increases Sales Volumes

In the first half of 2024, the sales volume of the tire company Sentury reached 4.11 billion yuan (580 million dollars), increasing by 16% compared to the same period last year, according to Chinese media.

It is noted that the demand for passenger car tires produced by Sentury outside of China continues to grow, while the demand within the country was "generally stable". In January-June 2024, the company's revenue in foreign markets grew by 21%, to 530 million dollars, or 89% of the total turnover.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, Sentury is preparing to launch its own plant in Morocco with a capacity of 12 million passenger car tires, which is expected to help the company further increase sales volumes. According to expert estimates, in 2024, Sentury's revenue will amount to 1.38 billion dollars, in 2025 - 1.66 billion dollars, and in 2026 - 1.94 billion dollars, with growth of 24, 21, and 17%, respectively.

There are also negative factors, such as a slowdown in export growth rates, an increase in raw material and shipping costs, as well as the impact of anti-dumping and compensatory duties in various regions of the world.

Sentury produces tires under such brands as Landsail and Delinte, and is also a partner of Nokian in contract manufacturing. The company was founded in 2007 and owns plants in Qingdao (China) and Rayong (Thailand).
