The BYD Han L sedan is equipped with Bridgestone tires

Bridgestone has become the supplier of tires for the recently introduced BYD Han L — the flagship sedan from the Chinese brand, which develops 1100 horsepower and can accelerate to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds. 

For the Han L, the Bridgestone Turanza T005 tires have been homologated, specially designed for premium-class vehicles and focused on improving comfort, which is ensured, among other things, by a special design of the sidewalls, optimized for absorbing vibrations. In addition, compact and unevenly spaced blocks in the shoulder areas reduce the noise level, and the structure of the breaker, made using composite materials, increases the comfort of the ride. The tires are also made using the Enliten technology and have a reduced weight, which reduces energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. 

"Since entering the Chinese market, Bridgestone has always paid special attention to technological innovations and has sought to provide consumers with reliable and high-quality tire products that ensure a high level of safety," the company noted, adding that in the future, it plans to expand its presence in the country in the segment of tires for premium and luxury vehicles.

In China, there are two Bridgestone plants, as well as a research and testing center, and the company's staff in the country numbers 3200 people.
