Sailun has joined the NTDA

Sailun, one of the world's top 10 tire manufacturers, has become the first Chinese company to receive official membership in the British National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA).

As noted by the NTDA, the partnership with Sailun confirms the company's commitment to strengthening its position in the UK market and will help the association continue to expand its connections with major tire manufacturers in the region.

"We are pleased to welcome Sailun Tyre as our new member," said Ian Andrew, Director General of the NTDA. "We value interaction at all stages of the tire supply chain, and manufacturers, including Sailun, play a key role in the development of the retail and wholesale segments of the industry. I look forward to Sailun's participation in NTDA events, which are held to support our members."

Hariy Van, Managing Director of Sailun in Europe, added that "joining the NTDA is an important event, as we continue to expand our presence in the UK market. For us, this is a valuable opportunity for closer interaction with the British tire industry, contributing to the achievement of common goals and strengthening ties with local partners."

Sailun is also a partner of the annual Tyre Industry Awards, presented by the NTDA, and has been nominated in the "Environmental Achievement of the Year" category along with companies such as Goodyear, Hankook, Marangoni, Michelin, Pirelli, and Prometeon. The award will also be given to the best tire manufacturer of the year, and in this category, Continental, Hankook, Michelin, Pirelli, and Prometeon are competing for the win. The award ceremony will take place on October 9 in Milton Keynes, England.
