Sailun has prepared tires for the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra

The company Sailun in cooperation with Xiaomi has developed semi-slick tires for the new super sedan SU7 Ultra, equipped with three electric motors and producing over 1500 horsepower, according to Chinese media.

For the SU7 Ultra, Sailun Podium Track PT01 tires were prepared, which are made from a special "racing" compound, combined with an increased tread width and a reinforced carcass structure, designed to provide reliable traction and optimal handling on the track, allowing the new electric car to unleash its full potential.

In creating the tires, Sailun not only collaborated with Xiaomi but also utilized its extensive experience in motorsports. Currently, Sailun is the only Chinese brand certified as a tire supplier by the International Automobile Federation (FIA), and the company emphasizes that it uses racing technologies when developing its civilian tires, enhancing their performance.

Previously, Sailun's PS01 track tires helped the Porsche 718 GT4 RS Silver Rocket set a record for street cars at the Ningbo International Circuit. In 2024, the company also became the official partner of the Chinese Formula 4 series, and in the future, tires will be supplied for major competitions such as the Chinese Grand Prix in the Hyundai N championship, the Korean Superrace, and more.

Sailun Podium Track PT01 tires are available in sizes 265/35ZR21 and 325/30ZR21 at a price of 2450 and 3050 yuan (30 and 38 thousand rubles) respectively, and SU7 Ultra buyers will also be able to choose semi-slick Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS or Pirelli P Zero road tires, namely the fifth-generation model (PZ5), which has not been officially presented yet.
