Sailun achieved historic success in independent testing

In the 2025 summer tire test season, at least one company can already celebrate a resounding success, and that's the Chinese Sailun, whose Atrezzo ZSR2 model became the first tire from a Chinese brand to make it into the top ten of the large test by Auto Bild, which this time had 52 participants. This is the best result for tires from Chinese manufacturers in the 39-year history of the German magazine, and Sailun also left behind tires from brands such as Pirelli and Yokohama.

Sailun could have shown an even higher result if it weren't for the limited resource, but it's worth noting that the ZSR2 received good ratings in all disciplines related to safety, which, for example, the Toyo and Dunlop tires, which took 8th and 9th places, respectively, failed to achieve.

In Sailun, they note that making it into the top ten after qualifying, where 52 tires were tested for braking efficiency on dry and wet surfaces, was already an outstanding achievement, and 10th place in the final standings is "a major success and another important milestone in the company's rapid development history".

"The results of the Sailun Atrezzo ZSR2 in the test final were definitely sensational," the company said. "By taking 10th place in the overall ranking, the new Sailun tire outperformed products from 10 brands in the final part of the test and from 42 brands, including qualifying."

As advantages of Sailun, experts pointed out high resistance to aquaplaning, effective braking, and good handling in any conditions, as well as a "pleasantly low noise level". "The icing on the cake was the lowest price among the test finalists, which once again confirms the traditionally excellent price-quality ratio of Sailun tires," the company adds.

Sailun Atrezzo ZSR2 tires are available in over 60 sizes with a rim diameter of 16-20 inches, a profile width of 205-315 mm, and speed indices W and Y.
