Ruia Group bids to acquire Birla Tyres

BTL — a company known as Birla Tyres until it was spun off from Kesoram Industries in 2020 — is insolvent, and two companies have already staked a claim to acquire the tire maker. One of them is the Ruia Group, the former owner of the Dunlop brand in India.
