Russian drivers named their preferred winter tire brands

In October 2024, specialists from the "Autostat" agency conducted a survey to find out which winter tire brand Russian drivers consider for their next purchase.

Respondents could name one preferred brand, and as a result, the first place, despite the official withdrawal from the Russian market, was taken by the Finnish Nokian Tyres with a score of 10.8%.

More than 10% of motorists also preferred the Cordiant and Michelin (also left Russia) brands, with results of 10.6 and 10.1%, respectively, followed by Kama (9.6%) and the Japanese Yokohama (8.4%), whose Russian plant continues to operate.
