Difference in tire tests: Russia and Europe

Can we trust tests? Ours or foreign ones?

Of course, yes. We are confident that our tests are more useful, although they have some drawbacks. Today we will talk about this.

First of all, it's worth starting with the fact that in the vast variety of tire offerings, tests help to prioritize. They also often explain why some tires can cost twice as much as others. Although many believe that overpaying for a brand is only necessary for advertising, expensive tires represent the latest technology and innovation in the industry. Often, these tires are simply twice as good.

How can this be understood without tests?

Without them, we are left to navigate only by manufacturers' advertising brochures and reviews. That's why tests are needed and they are very useful.

But why should we take our tests into account?

The thing is that more and more often we can find models that are relevant only to our market. For example, the company Bridgestone has two different models of studded tires for our market and Scandinavia. The company Nokian has also launched a studded model only for Russia. This is due to legislation and local regulations.

It's worth noting that our journalists, knowing the specifics of operation, often make a comparative analysis of durability, try to explain the "fair price", etc.

A drawback can be noted as a small set of models for testing. Not for the first time, we urge you to analyze tests in conjunction and make a balanced decision when choosing tires.
