Prinx has opened a technical center in Germany

According to the strategy of Prinx Chengshan, in the future, the company's tires for the European market will be developed and tested within the region, and manufactured at modern factories in Thailand and Malaysia, which is why the Chinese manufacturer opened a new technology center in Hanover (Germany) in December.

According to Thomas Wölgemuth, Managing Director of Prinx in Europe, the goal is to "start supplying tires that can compete with the strongest products on the European market as soon as possible", and the company adds that in the first stage, the main focus will be on the development of the flagship Prinx brand, the tires released under which "by 2028 should be among the top ten in the tests conducted by well-known magazines".

The new center is expected to help Prinx Europe strengthen consumer confidence in the company's products, as well as open access to car manufacturers and high-class specialists, and for the parent company, it will become an important element of the development strategy on the global market.

Prinx says that due to strict standards in the field of rolling resistance, wet grip, noise, and particulate emissions, Europe is considered the most demanding tire market in the world. In addition, independent tests further increase the requirements for tires, so "developments that are created and prove their effectiveness in such a competitive environment are a great advantage all over the world".

Stefan Fischer, a veteran of the tire industry who previously worked at companies such as Continental, Hankook, and Giti, is responsible for the development of the new center. The head of Prinx's entire scientific division is Li Chun Bin, based in China.

In addition to developing new tires for all segments in which Prinx is present, the tasks of the specialists of the new center also include testing products on European test tracks, establishing interaction with local car manufacturers, creating new innovations, and implementing strategic cooperation with universities, research institutes, and suppliers of materials and technologies. Moreover, engineers will also work together with sales department staff to take into account market trends and the needs of motorists at the early stages of new product development.

Prinx currently has factories in China and Thailand, and the construction of a plant in Malaysia began in November of this year.
