Japanese Bridgestone introduced new non-studded winter tires Bridgestone Blizzak VL10A, designed for vans and light trucks, and, as the company claims, having the best performance, including in terms of durability, in its class in the entire history of the Blizzak line.

Bridgestone also notes that the novelty is designed to provide a high level of safety on snow and ice during the delivery of goods in the "last mile", which is becoming increasingly popular due to the development of e-commerce. The tires are made from a special rubber compound with micro-bubbles, and this technology was first applied by Bridgestone in the light truck tire segment two years ago, when the Blizzak VL10 was introduced, and, as the manufacturer claims, has proven its effectiveness.

Compared to the previous generation tires (Blizzak VL1), the new model's braking performance on ice has been improved by 13%, and thanks to the increased contact area with the road and increased block stiffness, the service life has been increased by 14%.

Increased contact patch extends tire life

Bridgestone Blizzak VL10A will be available in Japan starting from September 1 in 13 sizes with a rim diameter from 12 to 17 inches.
