The first agro-industrial tire from Bridgestone is presented

Bridgestone introduced its first agro-industrial tire, the Bridgestone VH-IND, designed to provide high traction on all types of surfaces and featuring increased load capacity.

The company notes that as European farms develop, their operations become more complex, and to help customers use equipment with maximum efficiency while reducing downtime and operating costs, a new tire was developed for use both in the field and on hard surfaces.

The Bridgestone VH-IND features a new tread pattern, which, according to the manufacturer, increases traction by 12% and reduces the likelihood of slipping in various conditions compared to its direct competitor, the Michelin BibLoad. Additionally, tests conducted by the Belgian PCLT on behalf of Bridgestone using a Kramer KT 407 Ecospeed telehandler with a hydrostatic transmission showed that the Bridgestone's stability on difficult surfaces is 8% better than Michelin's, thanks to the reinforced carcass and increased vertical stiffness of the new tires.

Thanks to an additional layer of construction, the new tire also has a load capacity 500 kg higher than Michelin's, and its extended service life will help farmers reduce costs. The service life was extended thanks to a tread depth of 35.4 mm, while the volume of rubber is 20% more than Michelin's BiBload. Additionally, the tires were made more durable through optimization of load distribution.

According to Bridgestone, the new tires not only have some of the best market indicators for load capacity, stability, and wear resistance but are also made using Enliten technology, which improves various tire characteristics while also increasing their environmental friendliness.

"The scale of agriculture and the complexity of equipment operation continue to increase, and the Bridgestone VH-IND has the perfect balance between traction and durability. We are pleased to finally introduce the first Bridgestone product for the agricultural sector to the market."

The Bridgestone VH-IND will enter the European market in September 2025, and initially, the tires will be available in the size 460/70 R24, one of the most common in this segment.
