The American company Tireco has introduced a new all-season touring tire, the Westlake Foray RP218, which replaces the RP18 model, as well as other tires under the brand, which belongs to the Chinese company ZC Rubber.

The Westlake Foray RP218 features a new tread pattern and rubber compound, which, according to Tireco, have improved traction on wet and dry surfaces, while the optimized tread pitch has reduced noise levels, and the reinforced sidewalls, combined with a modified carcass design, have increased the tire's lifespan.

According to Mike Park, Vice President of Marketing at Tireco, the RP218 significantly outperforms its predecessor in terms of efficiency and comfort. "We are confident that both dealers and end-users will appreciate the improved capabilities of the new tire," he added.

Tireco also states that the release of the new tires is a strategic move aimed at expanding the presence of the Westlake brand in the "touring" segment of the American market, and that the company will continue to develop its product line in the future.

Tireco owns brands such as Milestar, Geostar, Geotrac, Nanco, TracGard, Sendel, and Forte, and also has exclusive distribution rights for Nankang tires in North America and Westlake products in the United States.
