The new Mitas Granterra agricultural tires were presented at the Agritechnica 2025 exhibition in Hanover, designed for high-power modern tractors. Mitas Granterra is made using VF PFO (Very High Flexion — Pressure Field Operation) technology, and the company claims that during operation on tractors with high torque at reduced pressure and speed (5-15 km/h), the even distribution of pressure reduces soil stress. In addition, the tread pattern with high blocks is designed to increase traction in difficult field conditions and provide stable traction and stability on soft and uneven surfaces at reduced pressure.

The new Mitas also feature an increased tread width, which further improves stability, reduces soil compaction, and extends the life of the tires, while the large voids between the lugs reduce the risk of damage when working on stubble and also make the tires more durable.

"By launching Granterra, we confirm Mitas' status as a key player in all segments of agricultural tires," said Roberta D'Aniello, Mitas Marketing Director. "The new tire embodies our vision of efficient agriculture and is the result of our attention to the real needs of farmers and contractors who need innovative solutions that simultaneously increase productivity and protect the soil."

Initially, Granterra will be available in size 710/75 R42, and in the future, it is planned to add nine more sizes to the range with a rim diameter of 30, 40, and 42 inches.
