A new minivan tire from Bridgestone is introduced

The Bridgestone Corporation has introduced the new summer tire Bridgestone Regno GR-XIII Tyre RV, which was specifically designed for minivans and compact crossovers and is set to hit the Japanese market in February 2025.

The basis for creating the Regno GR-XIII Tyre RV was the Bridgestone Regno GR-XIII "comfort" class passenger car model, released in February of this year, and the manufacturer notes that the novelty combines optimal driving characteristics with improved environmental characteristics, such as high fuel efficiency and resource savings during production.

During development, the Enliten design technology was used, which helped adapt the tires to the characteristics of minivans and compact crossovers. In particular, the tire's rolling resistance was reduced, which is especially important for vehicles with a high center of gravity, and Bridgestone also claims to have improved the ride comfort for rear-seat passengers. Since the vehicles in the target segment are also characterized by increased weight, attention was paid to increasing durability.

The Bridgestone Common Modularity Architecture (BCMA) technology was applied, which allows the use of the same modules in the production of various products, reducing costs and environmental impact. In addition, the eco-friendliness of the tires was improved using "green" raw materials, such as synthetic rubber certified to the ISCC PLUS standard.

The Bridgestone Regno GR-XIII Tyre RV will be available in 29 sizes with diameters from 15 to 20 inches, priced from 26,510 to 99,660 yen (from 17,700 to 66,600 rubles), and according to the Japanese labeling system, the tires received an "A/AA" rating for fuel efficiency and an "a" rating for wet grip (on a scale from "AAA-C" and from "a-d", respectively).
