New Bridgestone tire for luxury SUVs
Bridgestone has presented on the US market new high-traction tires Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent, designed for luxury SUVs and pickups equipped with large-diameter wheels, and developed to provide optimal handling on both asphalt and off-road, as well as in winter conditions.

The novelty features an aggressive design with increased tread depth, extending the life of the tires, and stone ejectors that reduce the risk of carcass damage. In addition, the tread pattern includes wide voids and special notches in the block walls to prevent tears and chips, while closely spaced interlocking 3D lamellae increase traction on snow, and the design of the square shoulder and sidewall has been refined to reduce noise levels.

Particular attention has also been paid to increasing the service life of the tires, and Dueler A/T Ascent is made from a special compound that has allowed the guaranteed mileage to be increased to 97,000 km, and the company emphasizes that durability has been achieved without sacrificing traction. The novelty has also become the first Bridgestone off-road tire made using Enliten technology, which, according to the company, simultaneously enhances traction in any weather, increases tire life, and reduces vibrations and noise.

"Our goal was to develop a luxury tire that would allow you to go off-road on weekends, while providing a high level of comfort in everyday life," said Jeremy Norwood, Senior Engineer, Consumer Tire Development, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations. "Dueler A/T Ascent is our first All-Terrain tire made using Enliten technology, and its excellent performance on wet asphalt, in winter conditions, and off-road is combined with impressive wear resistance."

Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent tires are marked with 3PMSF (three-peak mountain snowflake) and are available in 35 sizes with diameters from 17 to 22 inches.
